The seat and the backrest have been designed to improve the patient’s
comfort and stability on the chair. The particular ergonomics allows the doctor
to work in a more suitable position. Working in the 12 o’clock position will be easier.
The structure of the backrest is metal and its extra thin design improves the er-
ergonomics of the seat and makes the approach of the doctor to the patient much
easier, in this way the doctor can reach a better working position.
The design of the chair base grants a wider movement of the seat. It is thin and
allows the chair to reach a lower positioning, to grant a wider working space and
improve the doctor‘s comfort during the daily practice.

Whats the diffrence between this model and the others?
The power switch-
Unlike the other S&S dental units, the SS_ITALO does not have the lever to activate the air (from the compressor) at the chair base, it simply has a switch for turning ON and OFF the power supply.
Fixed Spittoon-
Another difference is that the Spittoon cannot rotate, it is fixed, to make the structure of the unit simpler. This does not affect the comfort of the assistant who still has all the necessary space to support the doctor during the daily practice.
The Free Stool-
The SS_ITALO is equipped, in its standard configuration, with a doctor stool MOD.02. This model has got 2 levers which allow to adjust the position of the seat up and down and the inclination of the backrest. The standard upholsery of the
stool is the PU leather but can also be supplied, upon request, with the FIBER LEATHER one.
